0.3 - love is here
I make no apology for focusing on writing Covered rather than posting randoms on here because I know that my enthusiasm for the project is strictly limited and I’ve got to get as much as possible done while I can still be bothered.
So here’s your new fix of the Coverflow clone for windows. Version 0.3, which in the tradition of naming releases is named after Starsailor’s album ‘love is here’. So what’s new:
- Covered now looks like Coverflow by displaying your current album as part of your whole music library.
- You can navigate through the library using the left and right arrow keys and play the selected album by pressing return - sadly no animations as yet, that’s for the next phase.
- Covered is now started using the supplied exe file. This allows Covered to request enough memory to avoid it crashing. With my library of 2400 songs, Covered maxes out using nearly 300Mb of memory so don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Remember this is essentially a preview, I know there are problems and I’m working to solve as many as possible. All of that said:
