the saturday afternoons are safe

The last couple of months have been quite a ride for me and my fellow saints fans. After initially being told that we might not make it to the end of last season, the administration thing managed to drag on until the last week. On the plus side, there isn’t now as long to wait until the start of next season. On the down side, we’ve currently got no manager, few coaches and most of the same players that got us in this problem in the first place!

Still, it’s onwards and upwards from here! It has to be!

what do you mean ignored?

You’re right, I’ve been far too busy with work/non-work, spending far too much cash on Apple products and worrying too much about a certain situation about a certain football club to post witty and entertaining stuff on here.

No, you can’t do anything to change it!

new tech, same smooth fonts

I continue to be amazed at what the clever people of the interweb manage to create, often in their spare time. To this end, I’ve switched the tech that provides the nice header font above from sIFR to cufon which means that even people who don’t have flash will be able to enjoy them.

Unless you’re using IE6 or below (where the transparency might not work), in which case I’d recommend you change browser.

Unless you’re using IE6 or below and you’re at work and can’t upgrade for some reason, in which case I feel your pain…

If you spot a problem and want to let me know, there are enough links on this and the about page to show you the way.

good looking small cars for everyone

It’s nice to see that in this age of the credit crunch, when you’ve not got huge bundles of cash to spend on a new car, that the smaller cars in the market have suddenly become a good looking bunch.

Sure, there’s still some rubbish out there, a lot of it actually , but look no further than the Honda Jazz (Above), the new Ford Fiesta and my current personal favourite (although I won’t be buying one) the Fiat 500 for something just that little bit better. And especially if you’re going to be given £2000 off for that old ugly rubbish you’re currently driving, you have no excuse not to buy something with style.
